Pic shows: The car in which Cynthia Randolph, 24, from Texas, locked her children inside, is taken away from the scene where she has been arrested over the deaths of her 16-month-old son and two-year-old daughter last month, who she left in a hot car to punish them. Temperatures on the day the children were discovered dead in the vehicle reached the mid-90s (mid 30s Celsius). Police said she went back to her rural home west of Forth Worth and smoked marijuana and took a nap and then returned up to three hours later to find Cavanaugh Ramirez, aged 16-months, and his two-year-old sister Juliet Ramirez, unresponsive. Randolph said she told the children to get out of the car and they refused so ‘she shut the car door to teach Juliet a lesson, thinking she could get herself and her brother out of the car when ready,’ according to a statement from the Parker County Sheriff’s Office. Randolph faces two first-degree felony counts of injury to a child causing serious bodily injury and is being held on a $200,000 bond. The still shows the car believed to have been involved in the incident, showing the broken window which Randolph said she smashed to get the children out. This still is from footage of the car being taken away shown on internet TV news channel WFAA.com
